In 2024, we celebrated Chanukah together on Friday evening, December 27.
The party will begin with the lighting of the Chanukah and Shabbat candles, then there will be a Middle-Eastern dinner along with latkes and soufganiyot (jelly donuts), lively music, dreidel games, story time with Reb Moshe, and a latke-hamantash debate. Your kids will have a blast and return home with gelt and lasting memories.
Photos from last Friday night’s Chanukah Party |
We had over 100 people join us in Pacifica, including lots of kids who enjoyed music, dinner, dreidel games, and a latke-hamantash debate that people are still talking about…. |
|
The adults had a great time, too, debating, laughing, dancing, singing, drinking and eating…. |
|
The sumptuous meal included latkes & soufganiyot. The generous servings of Middle-Eastern food were provided by our Palestinian friends at Mid East Market in San Bruno…. |
|
We caught a few clips of (1) everyone singing the first of the three-part song, “Lots of Latkes,” and (2) the ensemble leading everyone in “Ocho Kandelikas” with the kids singing in Spanish. |

More photos are posted on a Google Drive here. If you have additional photos or videos from the party or the HMB menorah lightings, add them to the drive or email them to Reb Moshe. |
